What is the “Eagle Eye™”
The Eagle Eye™ is an optical bird scarer approved and recommended by the Department of Nature Conservation.
• It is the first bird scarer to harmlessly relocate birds successfully from unwanted areas such as residential or commercial buildings, airstrips, farmlands, silos, golf greens, public areas, etc.
• The Eagle Eye™ bird-scarer does not harm the birds in any way and thus avoids injury to benign species.

The Eagle Eye™ works by reflecting light beams. The light bands, including the ultraviolet and infrared bands in the light spectrum are reflected back to the bird imitating the presence of a predator bird. This causes the bird to deviate in flight and fly to another destination. It does not affect sitting birds but hinders the birds as they come into land.
Once chased away the birds will eventually not return to where the Eagle Eye™ is installed. Animal welfare institutions are all in favour of the Eagle Eye™ because it is environmentally friendly and not harmful to any animals or environment.
Why should you use this product?
Birds are synonymous with nature. Our lives are brightened by them, and we feel comforted and even thrilled by these reminders of a fading natural world. We may well be somewhat less comforted when nature introduces us to its other denizens such as rats, cockroaches and lice. These far less attractive creatures seem to inhabit the darker and dirtier realms and their appearance…., well, let’s just say that they are not all that easy to love.
Birds, on the other hand, we invite into our lives. We feed them in parks, we entice them into our gardens and even tolerate them at the outside tables at our restaurants. These beautiful creatures are however potentially deadly vectors of more than 60 known serious diseases to man. Some of these diseases can be fatal.
Pigeons, geese, starlings and house sparrows for example often carry one or more of the diseases described above. Note that birds are not affected themselves and so look wonderfully healthy. Even if you don’t come into direct contact with the more than 50 parasites the birds carry, they can work their way through structures to infest our living quarters and bite humans. About two-thirds of these pests may be detrimental to the general health and well-being of humans and domestic animals. The rest are considered nuisance or incidental pests.
