Pieter Brits started farming with his father and now his son, Dawie, also farms with him. They farm with maize, soybeans, chickens and cattle.

Two silos were erected within a record time of six months at this farm. Each is 2500 tonnes capacity and can unload and take in up to 120 tonnes per hour.

The silos were erected because it puts the control over the farmer’s yield back in his hands. Thanks to AGI, Modderbult Boerdery can now choose when to sell the grain, and they don’t have to drive tractors on the road to the silos in town. The farm can also sift their grain themselves.
