The Pull and Stretch test is designed to test the resistance and tensile strength of the net. This is done as follows: A set of samples is cut to test the material in the warp and weft (width and length). The samples are tested one-by-one by means of a tensile tester.

In this video, the monofilament’s tensile strength is first tested to see how much load the material can handle. Next, the samples are first tested to see if they meet the specifications. Finally, the samples are testes to show the strength of the bugle tube.

These tests are repeated for each batch of nets produced. Thus, all materials supplied by Knittex meet the ASTM D5035 and ASTM D5034 standards
