With this year’s oilseed harvesting season fast approaching, New Holland’s CR combine is the ideal solution for bringing your valuable crops in from the field. This combine builds on more than 50 years of technological advancements in terms of outstanding power delivery, performance, capacity, and grain and straw quality.
The CR7.90 (414 hp or 309 kW), with its 17-inch rotors and 5,4 m² sieve area, can handle a header of up to 9,15 m. In addition, the next-generation CR10 combine is being introduced, equipped with 24-inch rotors, an 8,8 m² cleaning area (with closed-loop control), and a residue management system that can distribute crop residue up to 18 m (60 ft) through the proactive IntelliSpread system.
Outstanding performance starts with efficient material feeding
The CR combine’s material feeding unit is equipped with the Dynamic Feed Roll™ (DFR), which ensures a constant flow of material to the Twin Rotor™. This results in a power saving of 7 hp (5,2 kW) and a capacity increase of up to 10%.
Thanks to the straight and even flow of material through the TwinPitch rotors, the cleaning area is evenly loaded for optimal separation of the crop and material. The DFR ensures a linear speed adjustment between the working modules, making it possible to process even green and wet material. This means farmers can start harvesting earlier in the morning and continue later into the evening.
The TwinPitch Rotor™ effect
The TwinPitch Rotor™ system is designed to provide two key benefits. The rotor’s concave opening always operates with sufficient clearance to create crop-on-crop friction, which is much gentler than the threshing action between the crop and the concave. This design ensures efficient threshing, particularly at high yields. For the best straw quality and fuel consumption, it is critical that the crop remains inside the combine for the correct amount of time.
A high-quality CR grain sample
The Opti-Clean™ cleaning system ensures optimal separation between clean grain and other material. It operates within its own frame and can keep the system level even when the combine tilts by up to 20 degrees. This makes the combine ideal for use on both level and uneven terrain.
The RotoThresh™ is a rethreshing system located outside the main threshing area. It ensures maximum capacity for all crops. Material and crop undergoing the rethreshing process are returned to the cleaning area, preventing the main threshing area from becoming overloaded and helping to protect the grain from damage.
Opti-Fan™ technology compensates for the effects of gravity on crop material. When the combine is operating on level ground, the desired fan speed can be selected. The fan speed is then automatically adjusted when travelling uphill or downhill.
Outstanding cab
The combine’s cab features an ergonomic and simple design that makes setting up the functions easy. It provides everything needed to maintain control and get the job done.
Warranty
For customer peace of mind, New Holland offers a comprehensive “Uptime” warranty of 36 months or 1 200 hours on all CR combine harvesters.
