If you’re familiar with the quality of Drotsky’s feed mixers and hammer mills, you’ll know that the Drotsky team puts their heart and soul into every project. They build machines that are durable and make your work easier.

What fewer people know, however, is that the company also does engineering work. For example, in March this year, they helped complete a water treatment plant at a paper factory in Geduld, Springs.

Although the project came with its challenges since Drotsky was appointed as a subcontractor, the team gained valuable experience. They didn’t design the plant themselves, so they had to work according to supplied plans and collaborate with various departments. But at Drotsky, they know how to be team players.

This plant is just one of several engineering projects Drotsky has completed. While the Springs plant is especially close to their hearts, they also built a structure in Port Elizabeth designed to store shipping containers.

Drotsky’s engineering team is flexible and puts the customer first in every project. They offer advice and expertise backed by years of engineering experience, but they don’t force their ideas on clients.

What makes the team so dynamic is their ability to do just about anything. If you already have a rough idea of what you want, they can develop a design for you—or they can work from your existing plans to bring your dream to life. They assist with design, planning, manufacturing, and installation, if needed and feasible.

Drotsky’s engineers have years of experience and knowledge to help you with any project.

Drotsky can take on any project with you and will work closely alongside you to ensure all your needs are met. The team also goes the extra mile to make sure your project is completed on time, even if it means working after hours.

Their engineering services include metal and sheet metal fabrication. They can build filter housings and frames, erect structures, manufacture and install pipe ducts and stainless steel piping, turn shafts, perform bending work, and do profiling using plasma and laser cutting. They also offer general engineering work, such as welding.

While they currently specialise in components for waste management, they are capable of building anything for any industry.
