N & M Boerdery was started by spouses Nico and Mariana Hendriks. They farm in the Ellisras area. Not only do they plant potatoes and onions, but also have a cattle branch.
In 2014, Nico’s daughter persuaded him to test a Valtrac tractor. At first he was skeptical and said it was too expensive. Now he boasts with six tractors on his farm!
Tiaan Gerber, Nico’s son-in-law, has been farming with him for five years. He tells about the other implements they have from Valtrac are the poison sprayer, front cutter and side cutter. He says these are incredible implements.
Tiaan goes on to tell how the Valtrac team arrived at their farm within hours to help when there was a problem with one of the implements. He says it speaks volumes of their customer service.
Nico recommends the Valtrac tractors. According to him, the implements are above average in their work performance and the fuel consumption is very efficient. He says it’s the best he’s ever had.
