With a strong focus on large machinery, New Holland is showcasing the new CR10 combine harvester and the upgraded T9® and Genesis T8® tractor ranges at this year’s NAMPO Harvest Day. This reinforces the company’s position as a key supplier of large-scale agricultural equipment to producers who require high-capacity machinery.
At NAMPO Harvest Day, New Holland will display an impressive range of equipment at stands A2 and A3, reflecting the company’s commitment to advancing modern farming practices. Visitors are invited to explore the latest products and upgrades to existing models firsthand.
In 1975, New Holland pioneered the use of twin rotors for threshing and separation with the introduction of Twin Rotor™ combines. More than 50 years later, this technology has become the benchmark for almost every high-capacity combine harvester on the market.
The new CR10 combine is New Holland’s answer to the farming demands of today and tomorrow. It has been engineered to minimise grain losses, protect grain quality, reduce operating costs and leave fields in optimal condition for the next season. The entire approach to combine design has been reimagined, resulting in a completely new machine architecture and driveline.
The CR10 is unmatched in its class. Its 24-inch rotors, housed in a wider and longer threshing compartment, feed a 16 000-litre grain tank and unload harvested grain at a rapid rate of 210 litres per second. The Twin Clean™ cleaning shoe incorporates two simultaneous cleaning systems, with two upper and two lower sieves, two clean-grain sensors and two sets of pressure sensors that measure cleaning shoe load.
This revolutionary, fully automated system ensures even cross-distribution across the cleaning shoe for maximum capacity at near-zero loss levels. The award-winning IntelliSpread™ radar system automates residue spreading control to ensure full and even residue coverage of up to 18 m behind the combine, regardless of wind conditions, crop type or moisture levels.
The Genesis® T8 range has recently been upgraded to meet a wider range of industry applications. These tractors offer ample power from engines delivering 195-297 kW (approximately 5% more than the previous range), paired with either the fully synchronised Ultra Command™ powershift transmission or the Auto Command™ continuously variable transmission (CVT). This power is transferred through heavy-duty axles, robust three-point linkages, and drawbars for optimal performance during land preparation operations.
The 328-litre/minute MegaFlow hydraulic pump, together with six full hydraulic remotes, ensures sustained operation of any implement or planter.
Cab suspension is now standard and includes two IntelliView™ 12 touchscreen displays to manage all implements and applications. An integrated telematics control system is now available for life, making fleet visibility easier than ever. Combined with the FieldOps data management platform, producers have complete oversight of both farm and fleet operations. The FieldOps system is free to use and allows integration of all equipment into one platform.
The range still includes two models equipped with the renowned rear SmartTrax systems. These tracks provide an improved footprint, flotation and traction in sandy soils or wet conditions.
The T9® range with PLM Intelligence technology showcases the very best of New Holland power, comfort, efficiency and versatility, with outputs ranging from 312 kW to 474 kW (approximately 6% more than the previous range). With integrated PLM Intelligence connectivity features, similar to those found on the Genesis T8® range, the T9® series represents the most advanced and powerful four-wheel-drive tractors New Holland has ever offered.
Inside the cab, operators experience PLM Intelligence technology that combines intuitive controls with enhanced adaptability and operational control.
Cab suspension is now standard and includes two IntelliView™ 12 touchscreen displays to control all implements and applications. MegaFlow™ II hydraulics delivering 428 litres/minute are also standard, along with six full hydraulic remotes.
The precision technology division will provide information on the latest FieldOps, Raven, and FleetPro systems at the NAMPO stand.
