One of the biggest attractions for farmers this year at LEMKEN’s exhibition stand was their new MultiHub system, showcased on the Rubin 10 machine. According to Wessel Vosloo from LEMKEN South Africa, this technology gives farmers the ability to place seed into the soil during tillage operations, all in a single pass.
The MultiHub is an ISOBUS unit that can accurately meter fine seed and be used on various LEMKEN machines. The system operates with an electric metering mechanism and a hydraulic fan that places the seed onto the rollers while the implement is working. This means farmers can save time, reduce fuel consumption, and work more efficiently by combining multiple actions into one operation.
