Klerksdorp, 1 July 2026 – Senwes, in partnership with Thuso Mills, has donated 34 tonnes of maize meal to the People of South Africa Foundation in support of relief efforts following the recent floods in the Western Cape.
The donation follows the devastating weather events that affected thousands of families and caused widespread damage to communities, infrastructure and the agricultural sector.
The 34 tonnes of maize meal are expected to provide between 192,000 and 226,000 meals, delivering much-needed food assistance to families as they continue to recover from the disaster.
The donation forms part of Senwes’ commitment to working alongside trusted partners during times of need and making a practical contribution to the communities that need it most.
