A broken implement in the field doesn’t necessarily have to mean lengthy downtime. With ESAB’s compact and mobile welding equipment, farmers can take repair capabilities closer to where the work needs to be done.

At NAMPO Cape 2026, Jaques Tredoux from ESAB demonstrated some of the company’s smaller welding machines, including the popular Rebel™ range, designed with mobility, safety and ease of use in mind.

The Rebel™ EMP 235ic combines MIG, TIG and stick welding capabilities in one mobile unit. ESAB’s sMIG technology dynamically monitors the arc and continuously adapts to the operator’s welding technique to provide a smooth and stable arc.

ESAB also showcased the Sentinel A60 welding helmet, providing essential eye and face protection when it is time to get the job done.
