The recent production auction of Kalkveld & De Bruin Bonsmaras, presented by Northern Cape Livestock (NKLH), was an outstanding success and reflects the incredible standards maintained by these breeders.
On offer were 40 select bulls and 120 commercial female animals in all stages of production – and buyers did not disappoint.
The most expensive bull of the day, Lot 7, was sold for an impressive R450 000 to Schalk van der Merwe of Leeuheuwel Bonsmaras together with Kobus Burger of B2 Bonsmaras.
