When a farmer has a need for an in-depth soil map, SGS Nvirocrop’s mechanical drill is their answer. The map is used to determine fertiliser application rates.
It is a process that is intended to be done only once. The depth they drill to is up to about 4 meters, or as deep as the soil allows.
