The story of Orange River Feeds (ORV) is one of hard work and perseverance. What began in 1982 as a small feed plant started by the Botha brothers is today one of the largest feed companies in South Africa.
For the past nine years, Yara Animal Nutrition (Yara AN) has also played an important role in this success story – and ORV continues to rely on Yara AN’s products. Johan Botha is responsible for the operational management of ORV’s animal feed factory, as well as the procurement of raw materials.
“Raw materials are a critical part of our business. We need to be able to rely on our suppliers to deliver quality raw materials, so that we in turn can offer quality products to our clients,” explains Johan. According to him, there are many P21 products on the market, but ORV has always received consistent quality from Yara AN – and that is why they continue to stay with Yara AN.
