The Serfbred Brahman group once again dominated the white registered Brahman livestock auction with their superior animals. 

Average on the auction

The auction was conducted by Hendrik Nel (Auctioneer) of Clive Gardner Auctioneers, Potchefstroom.

Bulls:

  • 8 Top Brahman stud bulls were offered and achieved an average price of R 62 750.00. The most expensive Serfbred Brahman bull, Lot 15, is sold for R 130 000.00 to Mkhululi Thebe from Zimbabwe.

Female animals:

  • 10 Open heifers achieved an average of R 26 600.00.
  • 23 Cows and calves achieve an average of R 35 913.00.
  • 12 Pregnant cows sold at an average of R 28 500.00.
