Vlakte Bonsmara Study Group proved once again on Friday 2 May 2025 that they know how things are done. During their 19th production auction on the farm Doornpan outside Roedtan, the day was characterised by excellent offers, good spirits and 100% sales.
A total turnover of R8 798 000 was generated with the sales of the 363 animals that were on offer that day.
The most expensive bull, Lot 14 from Aldigo Bonsmaras, was sold for R210 000 to Gielie and Derick Fick of Fick Agri, Claudiushoop farm in Dendron.
The Vlakte Bonsmara Study Group’s continued success is not only a testament to their genetic standards, but also to their strong networks and commitment to the advancement of the Bonsmara industry in South Africa.
