Suikerbos Bonsmaras’ passion for this exceptional breed can be seen in every animal they nurture. This means that they only showcased their best animals at their recent auction, which was held on 9 September 2026 at the Glomix Events Centre in Schweizer-Reneke.

Suikerbos-Bonsmaras do not breed cattle that will be the largest or fastest-growing animals, they focus on cattle that will ultimately optimise the breeder’s profits.

During the auction, one of their prize stud bulls, Lot 4 (HWB 24 – 007), was sold to Willie Oosthuisen from Wolmaranstad for R150 000.00.
