The average of the auction was as follows:

Bulls
18 Top Bonsmara stud bulls were offered and achieved an average price of R110 000.00. The most expensive bulls of Jean Gouws, Lot 8 and Lot 11, were sold for R180 000. Lot 8 was sold to Hardus De Beer (jnr & snr) of Harcor Farming. Lot 11 was sold to Koos Hartzenberg.
Females animals
With the top-quality female animals at every auction, it is sure that the study group is on the right track. Only strictly screened commercial animals were offered.
  • 12 Weaner calves on auction achieved an average of R 12 000.00. The highest price of R 17 500.00 from Frits Kroon is sold to Darren Sullivan.
  • 27 Open heifers were sold at an average of R 17 740.74. The highest price achieved was R 19 000 from Kobus du Toit, also sold to Darren Sullivan.
  • 57 Cows and calves achieved an average of R 39 859.65. The highest price of R 47 000.00 was sold by L Riekert and Seuns, bought by Koos Hartzenberg.
  • 43 Pregnant cows sold at an average of R 31 488.37. The highest price of R 37 000.00 was sold by Henk Pretorius, bought by Paul Mojopelo.
  • 30 Pregnant cows and calves (3in1) achieved an average of R 50 166.67. Tian Kruger sold the most expensive lot for R 74 000.00, to Koos Hartzenberg.
  • 72 Pregnant heifers achieved an average of R 33 125.00. The highest price sold for R 58 000 from L Riekert and Seuns, bought by Anton Venter.
