Selfmix 100

Selfmix 100 is a mineral and protein concentrate that can be used to mix different licks for cattle, sheep and goats. With one concentrate, farmers can easily mix maintenance licks, energy licks and production licks according to their animals’ needs.

Selfmix 100 is manufactured by blending Kynofos 21 (a 3), spray-dried molasses by-product, feed-grade urea and essential trace minerals. Urea serves as the main protein source and supplies nitrogen to rumen microorganisms, improving the digestion of dry and low-protein grazing.

Selfmix 100 is not molasses-based, meaning intake is naturally limited according to the animal’s requirements, promoting more efficient utilisation and less wastage.

Selfmix 100 also supports optimal rumen function and helps animals utilise nutrients more effectively. In addition to protein, Selfmix 100 provides sufficient phosphate and important trace minerals that are especially essential during the dry season.

Selfmix 100 is a concentrate and cannot be fed to animals unmixed. Sufficient grazing must be available at all times. Adapt animals by gradually increasing the amount provided over a period of 10 to 14 days.

Lotmix 85

Lotmix 85 is a versatile, highly concentrated protein and mineral concentrate developed to improve the nutrition of cattle and sheep. The product contains not only protein and minerals, but all the essential trace minerals, vitamins and ionophores required for optimal performance.

Because Lotmix 85 is so concentrated, only one 50 kg bag is needed to mix one tonne of final feed. This helps farmers save significantly on transport and storage costs, as less storage space is required.

Farmers can mix their own available raw materials, such as grains and roughage, with Lotmix 85 to formulate a cost-effective and balanced ration for their animals.
