In the world of heavy machinery, few things carry as much weight as reliability, experience and strong partnerships. At NAMPO Bothaville this year, Benetrax Machinery demonstrated why it has grown from its humble beginnings in 2013 into one of the most powerful players in South Africa’s earthmoving and material-handling markets.

As a proud member of the Route Management Group, Benetrax showcased a comprehensive range of yellow machinery at its stand this year, specifically adapted to meet the unique challenges of the local environment.

Benetrax displayed a wide range of forklifts in various sizes and brands.

A range for every need

Whether it’s a compact solution for a farming operation or massive equipment for heavy-duty mining environments, Benetrax’s product range covers the entire spectrum.

At their NAMPO stand, Sales Manager Allan Webber explained that the company focuses specifically on earthmoving equipment, wheel loaders and forklifts. Their wheel loader offering ranges from smaller units perfectly suited to the everyday needs of farmers, to massive machines built to full mining specifications.

For material handling, they have introduced the excellent UN forklifts, available in models ranging from 2,5 tonnes to 3,5 tonnes. These units are available in both diesel and electric versions, with various battery size options to ensure optimal performance.

Benetrax is also the official agent for Sunward’s versatile compact skid steers, telehandlers, aerial work platforms and scissor lifts.

Benetrax’s Sunward excavators range from a compact 1.8-tonne model to a 95-tonne machine.

Quality proven in practice

Benetrax is the proud South African agent and distributor for leading international brands such as Ensign and Sunward. The Ensign wheel loaders, imported from China, have already won the trust of local customers and farmers. According to Allan, there are very few dairy farmers in the Western Cape today who don’t have a reliable Ensign wheel loader on their farms.

Benetrax also relies on Sunward’s technology, offering excavators ranging from a compact 1,8-tonne model to giant 95-tonne mining machines.

Allan points out that the true measure of a brand’s success is its after-sales service. Benetrax experiences very few warranty claims on its machines, highlighting the exceptional quality and durability of its products under South Africa’s demanding operating conditions.

The Benetrax bulldozer range is a new addition that the Benetrax team is particularly excited about.

New technology tackles the fuel challenge

One of the new additions the team was particularly excited about during the show was the brand-new Benetrax bulldozer range. The company deliberately sought a product that would make an impact on the market by offering modern technology that reduces fuel consumption.

Since fuel costs are one of the biggest concerns for any operator, this range has been specifically designed for maximum efficiency.

The first batch of machines is already in production and on its way to South Africa, with models ranging from a small 13-tonne three-way blade bulldozer for agricultural applications to a massive 60-tonne mining bulldozer powered by a 677 hp (505 kW) engine. Allan admits that he feels like a child with a new toy when he looks at this range, as it perfectly completes their product offering.

Benetrax also supplies scissor lifts.

The complete chain

In the mining sector, Benetrax machinery supports the entire lifecycle of the process from start to finish. Benetrax can supply everything from the drill that creates the first holes, to the excavator that loads raw rock into crushing machines, and the final wheel loader that transports the crushed aggregate to its destination.

In addition, every loader bucket is custom-built at the factory according to the density requirements of the specific material being handled.

Ultimately, however, it is service that makes the difference. Earthmoving equipment represents a major investment, and Benetrax distinguishes itself through outstanding after-sales support and immediate parts availability.

The company boasts a highly qualified team of technicians and field-service vehicles that maintain and repair machinery directly on-site.

Backed by a financially strong parent company, Benetrax has grown organically since 2013 and also offers flexible financing packages and buy-back agreements to ensure that your investment continues to work for you.

Although the gates of NAMPO have closed for this year, the team is ready to continue the journey with you. For more information, visit Benetrax’s website.
