It’s almost time for KragDag, South Africa’s leading expo for self-reliance and sustainable solutions, from 7-9 August at Diamantvallei Landgoed, 20 km east of Pretoria. With more than 600 exhibitors and a visitor count of over 34 000 people in 2024, KragDag is a unique platform where families, entrepreneurs and suppliers meet annually for “do-it-yourself” lifestyle solutions.

What originally started as an energy expo has since developed into a multifaceted experience and annual highlight on the calendar. The expo includes several theme areas: safety, education, entrepreneurship, outdoor power equipment, water storage and of course energy solutions. In partnership with Solidarity Helping Hand, an Art & Craft Market is also presented – the ideal place for ladies (and others!) to come and browse and shop.

Another highlight is the Agriculture Sub-Expo, presented in collaboration with TLU SA, with a focus on modern agricultural technology, implements, livestock and production practices.

The site features two arenas where demonstrations, competitions and shows take place, as well as two beer gardens with stages for entertainment by emerging artists. The popular Entrepreneuria Junior Entrepreneurs competition, presented in collaboration with Fergusmor, welcomes around 50 young participants this year to refine their entrepreneurial skills.

The Kopskuif studio will once again offer insightful discussions on current and relevant topics – a must-experience for any free-thinking visitor.
