If you are looking for a real South African hunting experience, look no further than Aloe Africa Hunting Safaris.
Aloe Africa Hunting Safaris grew from a family ranch named Stillrust in KwaZulu-Natal, where Christiaan Gunther farmed with his father. He was later joined by his wife, Annelise, after which the couple had two children, Pieter and Anke.
Chris and his dad later reduced the number of cattle on the farm and started reintroducing game. In doing so, they managed to save a beautiful part of the African savanna for future generations.
In 2001, Chris finished his professional hunting course and started Aloe Africa Hunting Safaris. What started as a game farm eventually turned into a game butchery, and with the addition of a lifelong friend, Yogi (Jurgens), they took Aloe Africa Hunting Safaris to the next level.
Today they have two stunning destinations, namely the ranch in KwaZulu-Natal and one in Limpopo.

Thousands of years ago, this area was inhabited by the San people, the Inguni tribe, and later the Zulu nation before the Voortrekkers travelled over the Drakensberg Mountains to start farming the lands. The Gunther family has owned and farmed these lands since 1882.
You can expect to start your day before sunrise with a light meal before your first hunting expedition. This can either be on a 4×4 or on foot with a professional hunter. Once your trophy is secured and photographed, the team handles the recovery and skinning while you enjoy brunch.
