This year, Limagrain builds on its exceptional growth over the past few seasons by introducing the following new maize cultivars:

LG31.664BR

A yellow maize adapted to all dryland conditions, from KwaZulu-Natal to the far West. This medium-maturity cultivar delivers top yields with very good grain quality. In the past three years of research and development trials, it was the number one cultivar for yield.

It also has a well-balanced disease package. The Roundup Ready version, LG31.664R, is the perfect cultivar for refuge areas.

LG31.754BR

This yellow maize has outperformed LG31.752BR in research and development trials over the past three years. With the same growth class as LG31.752BR, it is the perfect companion to LG31.664BR, offering crop rotation options for risk diversification. The non-GMO version, LG31.754, and Roundup Ready version, LG31.754R, are also available.

LG31.755BR

A long-season white maize developed for the Western production regions. This cultivar has a strong disease package and very good grain quality. During the recent extremely wet season, this was one of the few cultivars that consistently produced high-quality grain.

With yields matching LG31.747BR and LG31.753BR, it is certainly a good option where a longer-growing variety is needed with exceptional grain quality. This cultivar is also available in a Roundup Ready version, LG31.755R.
