NAMPO 2025 highlights
At NAMPO 2025, Tal-Tec displayed their latest product developments and improvements. One of the standout innovations was their new recessed water troughs, made from 1,6 mm steel plate for enhanced durability. These troughs are now stackable for easier transport and come with protective covers over the ball valves to prevent damage from livestock.
Farmers also had the opportunity to inspect the updated neck clamps, designed to hold animals securely and calmly during procedures such as vaccinations and pregnancy tests. These clamps are easy to use and can lock in any position, improving the overall ease of animal handling.

Versatile and mobile solutions
Tal-Tec’s mobile kraal panels and gates are lightweight, durable, and easy to assemble – ideal for rotational grazing setups or isolating sick animals. The panels come in various sizes and are connected with 16 mm steel pins to create a strong, secure structure.
The company’s loading ramps feature non-slip surfaces and sturdy side rails to ensure the safety of both livestock and handlers. These ramps are available in several models, including mobile versions that can easily be moved to different areas on the farm.
Technology for modern farming
Tal-Tec’s electronic weighing equipment, such as the LS4 load bar system, enables farmers to accurately monitor individual animal weights – crucial for feed management and marketing decisions.
These systems integrate easily with existing livestock handling infrastructure, promoting ease of use and seamless operation.
Another example of Tal-Tec’s commitment to animal welfare and efficiency is their immobiliser, which uses gentle electric pulses to keep animals still during procedures such as branding, dehorning, or tagging – reducing stress and risk of injury.
