In consultation with the Minister of the Department of Agriculture, the OBP Board has appointed Dr Jacob Modumo as an interim Chief Executive Officer, following the resignation of Dr Bethuel Nthangeni, owing to health reasons.
As interim CEO, Dr Modumo brings a wealth of experience and insight to this role. With over 20 years of leadership experience, he is well-positioned to guide the organisation during this transitional period. Dr Modumo is committed to upholding the organisation’s values, advancing its strategic goals, and ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional service to all stakeholders.
Dr Modumo’s appointment reflects the organisation’s commitment to maintaining continuity and stability during this important phase. Under Dr Modumo’s leadership, the OBP will continue to strengthen its initiatives to meet the needs of its community, clients, and partners.
The Board has commenced with the search for a permanent CEO to lead the organisation into the next phase of growth and development. In the meantime, the Board is confident that Dr Modumo will steer the organisation with skill and dedication.
